Description
BPC-157 is a synthetic pentadecapeptide derived from a partial sequence of a protein found in gastric juice. It has been characterized in preclinical research as a putative cytoprotective and angiogenic peptide, making it a useful tool compound for isolating tissue-repair and gastrointestinal endpoints in experimental designs.
BPC-157 has been examined in preclinical in vitro and rodent model studies of angiogenesis, tendon and connective-tissue cell activity, gastrointestinal mucosal protection, growth-factor receptor signaling, and wound-healing dynamics. Its defined sequence supports mechanistic characterization of tissue-repair biology in cell-based and rodent research.
Intended use: In vitro and preclinical in vivo laboratory research only. Not approved for human or veterinary use.
