Description
LL-37 is an endogenous 37-amino acid cathelicidin-derived antimicrobial peptide. It has been characterized in preclinical research as a host-defense peptide with immunomodulatory activity, making it a useful tool compound for isolating innate-immune and antimicrobial endpoints in experimental designs.
LL-37 has been used in preclinical in vitro and rodent model studies to investigate antimicrobial activity, immune cell chemotaxis, inflammatory signaling, angiogenesis, and wound-healing dynamics. Its defined sequence supports mechanistic characterization of innate-immune biology in cell-based and rodent research.
Intended use: In vitro and preclinical in vivo laboratory research only. Not approved for human or veterinary use.
