Description
Sermorelin is a synthetic 29-amino acid peptide corresponding to the biologically active fragment of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It has been characterized in preclinical research as a GHRH receptor agonist, making it a useful tool compound for isolating GH axis endpoints in experimental designs.
Sermorelin has been used in preclinical in vitro and rodent model studies to investigate pituitary GH secretion dynamics, GHRH receptor signaling, IGF-1 axis modulation, and somatotroph cell activity. Its defined receptor pharmacology supports mechanistic characterization of the GH axis in cell-based and rodent research.
Intended use: In vitro and preclinical in vivo laboratory research only. Not approved for human or veterinary use.
