Description
GHRP-6 is a synthetic hexapeptide that acts as a growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHSR) agonist. It is among the earlier characterized secretagogues and is used as a reference probe for ghrelin-receptor signaling.
Experimental work has covered growth hormone release kinetics, ghrelin-pathway activation, appetite-related behavior, and somatotroph activity in vitro and in rodents. Its established profile makes it a dependable comparator in GH-axis study designs.
