Description
TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4, a naturally occurring actin-binding protein, used in research as a probe of cytoskeletal dynamics and cell movement.
Non-clinical studies in cultured cells and rodents have addressed vessel formation, fibroblast and endothelial motility, matrix turnover, and inflammatory signaling. Its actin-binding behavior supports mechanistic study of repair-related pathways.
Intended use: In vitro and preclinical in vivo laboratory research only. Not approved for human or veterinary use.
