Description

SNAP-8 is a synthetic octapeptide based on the N-terminal portion of the SNAP-25 protein, studied for its influence on SNARE complex assembly and vesicle release.

Non-clinical work in cultured cells and animal models has addressed SNARE complex formation, exocytosis dynamics, neuromuscular signaling, and dermal fibroblast contraction assays. Its sequence-defined activity supports mechanistic study of exocytotic processes.
