Description
Semax is a synthetic heptapeptide derived from an ACTH(4-10) fragment, studied as a neuroactive regulatory peptide with links to neurotrophic and melanocortin signaling.
Non-clinical studies in cultured cells and rodents have addressed BDNF and nerve growth factor expression, neuronal protection under stress, and attention- and memory-related testing. Its compact structure supports focused neuromodulation research.
Intended use: In vitro and preclinical in vivo laboratory research only. Not approved for human or veterinary use.
