Description

Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide that selectively activates the growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHSR). It is noted in research for prompting growth hormone release while showing limited impact on cortisol and prolactin in animal models.

Experimental designs have used it to study somatotroph signaling, growth hormone pulse characteristics, and IGF-1 axis responses in vitro and in rodents. Its selectivity makes it a clean probe for isolating GHSR-specific activity.
