Description
AHK-Cu is a copper-binding tripeptide (alanyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine) complexed with copper(II), structurally related to the copper tripeptide GHK-Cu. It has been characterized in preclinical research as a modulator of matrix synthesis and copper-dependent signaling, making it a useful tool compound for isolating regenerative and follicular endpoints in experimental designs.
AHK-Cu has been used in preclinical in vitro and rodent model studies to investigate collagen synthesis, fibroblast proliferation and migration, hair follicle biology, and VEGF-associated angiogenic signaling. Its copper-peptide chemistry supports mechanistic studies of tissue remodeling and dermal papilla biology in laboratory research.
Intended use: In vitro and preclinical in vivo laboratory research only. Not approved for human or veterinary use.
