Description
Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide and selective growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHSR) agonist. It has been characterized in preclinical research for its selective stimulation of pituitary GH release with minimal observed effect on cortisol, prolactin, or ACTH secretion in rodent model studies, making it a useful tool compound for isolating GH axis endpoints in experimental designs.
Ipamorelin has been used in preclinical in vitro and in vivo models to investigate pituitary GH secretion dynamics, IGF-1 axis modulation, somatotroph cell signaling, and pulsatile GH release characterization. Its relatively short half-life supports time-course experimental designs in cell-based and rodent secretion studies.
Intended use: In vitro and preclinical in vivo laboratory research only. Not approved for human or veterinary use.
