Description
KPV is a synthetic tripeptide (Lys-Pro-Val) corresponding to the C-terminal fragment of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone. It has been characterized in preclinical research as a putative anti-inflammatory peptide, making it a useful tool compound for isolating inflammatory-signaling endpoints in experimental designs.
KPV has been examined in preclinical in vitro and rodent model studies of inflammatory cytokine modulation, NF-kB pathway signaling, intestinal epithelial responses, and tissue-repair dynamics. Its minimal tripeptide structure supports mechanistic characterization of anti-inflammatory signaling in cell-based and rodent research.
Intended use: In vitro and preclinical in vivo laboratory research only. Not approved for human or veterinary use.
