Description
Thymalin is a thymic polypeptide complex obtained from bovine thymus tissue, composed of a mixture of short peptide fractions rather than a single defined sequence. It has been characterized in preclinical research as an immunomodulatory bioregulator, making it a useful tool compound for isolating thymic and immune-restoration endpoints in experimental designs.
Thymalin has been used in preclinical in vitro and rodent model studies to investigate T-cell maturation, cytokine expression, hematopoietic activity, and aging-related immune decline. Its multi-fraction thymic composition supports mechanistic study of thymus-dependent immune regulation in cell-based and rodent research.
Intended use: In vitro and preclinical in vivo laboratory research only. Not approved for human or veterinary use.
